The Home Health Aide (HHA) course from New Grace Academy Of Medical Professionals is available for those interested in assisting clients with care in the comforts of their home.
Basic Skills:
Students are trained in direct care of clients at home including, but not limited to fall prevention, performing activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, grooming), home management, infection control, and transfer skills are integral part of this program.
Program/Training Duration:
3-4 weeks (76 hours)
Job Placement:
Home Care Agencies, Rehabilitation Centers, Assisted Living Facilities, Day Care Centers, and Mental Health Institutions
Certification:
Certification is by the New Jersey Board of Nursing, Division of Consumer Affairs – the individual must have successfully completed the training at New grace and passed the background clearance as conducted by the Division of Consumer Affairs
